Description of parts - Manfred Schaefer - 2025-10-15 Hello, Part 73200bpaw corresponds to Bricklink part 970c86pb06. In the LDraw part, the hip has a solid color of ‘Dark Red’ (320). This part is also available with a gray hip (Light Bluish Gray, 71). I assume that a new version would have to be created for this variant, for example 73200pax, even though the lower parts end with paw. An extension such as c01 and c02 is not possible: 73200bpawc01 with hips in Dark Red, 73200bpawc02 with hips in Light Bluish Grey. There is a similar problem with the minifig torsos (76382), where there are different hands or arms, for example. Best regards, Manfred RE: Description of parts - Magnus Forsberg - 2025-10-15 Bricklink partnumber? Set number? This is not a problem. Check out how one torso 973p8a is used in 4 different assemblies. 76382p8a.dat 76382p0014.dat 76382p0015.dat 76382p0016.dat RE: Description of parts - Orion Pobursky - 2025-10-15 73200 and 76382 are already assemblies. There should never be a cXX of these files unless they appear as part of some larger assembly that include (which is unlikely). Different arms, hand, or hips colors should just get a new unique pattern code. RE: Description of parts - Chris Böhnke - 2025-10-16 Do you mean this leg assembly? https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=970c01pb21&idColor=86#T=C&C=86 (Windra - Set 70009) This is not the same pattern. Similar, but not identical. I could not find any other leg assembly matching your description. Hello Orion, If I understand you correctly, assemblies are Lego parts that consist of several parts and are sold as such. Like minifig upper and lower parts. For example, a tyre mounted on a rim is a shortcut and is given the suffix cxx. Where xx is a two-digit number that is increased by one with each subsequent version. And according to the definition, the p stands for the printing, whereby the printing includes the colour of the individual parts and not just the printing itself. The only exception here is colour 16, which stands as a placeholder for every colour. Best regards, Manfred RE: Description of parts - Manfred Schaefer - 2025-10-16 (2025-10-15, 20:49)Magnus Forsberg Wrote: This is not a problem. Hello Magnus, Understood. As Orion described, the colour of the parts is also taken into account during printing. To avoid problems with the minifigure torsos, it was started with pxxxx. Kind regards, Manfred RE: Description of parts - Magnus Forsberg - 2025-10-16 (2025-10-16, 15:21)Manfred Schaefer Wrote: And according to the definition, the p stands for the printing, whereby the printing includes the colour of the individual parts and not just the printing itself. The pattern might be made by a mix of differently coloured parts, and printing. Like the minifig torsos with dual moulded, and printed arms. RE: Description of parts - Manfred Schaefer - 2025-10-17 Hello, If an assembled part, for example a minifigure lower part (73200, 21019) or minifigure upper part (76382, 16360), consists of different colored parts, is there a rule as to which part is assigned color 16, and is it always the same part? The hips were assigned the hard coded colour in these parts: 73200bpw4, 73200bpaz The left leg was assigned the hard coded colour in these parts: 73200bpb9, 73200bpba Best regards, Manfred RE: Description of parts - Orion Pobursky - 2025-10-17 The legs are always color 16 if one of the legs is different, the one that matches the hips is color 16. I don't know if there's a case where all 3 don't match. Probably but not sure we've run into yet. RE: Description of parts - Chris Böhnke - 2025-10-17 It does exist, though only unprinted I think: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?M=cas236#T=S&O={%22iconly%22:0} I am still curious what colour Lego considers this to be... EDIT: Found a printed one :https://brickset.com/parts/6212035/mini-lower-part-no-1420 And TLG seems a bit undecisive which colour should be "main": https://brickset.com/parts/6284129/mini-lower-part-no-1799 RE: Description of parts - Manfred Schaefer - 2025-10-18 (2025-10-17, 23:11)Orion Pobursky Wrote: The legs are always color 16 Does this statement also apply if the hips have no pattern? And does this statement also apply to the torso in the minifig upper part? How are the minifig lower parts treated that have more than one colour and no pattern? Different colours are also a pattern? |
