Duplo cannon ball part naming - Peter Blomberg - 2025-07-25
BrickLink lists two duplo cannon balls:
54043 Duplo Cannon Ball 1/2 with Large Axle Connector
54043b Duplo Cannon Ball 1/2 with Large Axle Connector and 4 Holes in Top
These parts have visibly different geometry, the newer is more reinforced and has 4 holes.
How should they be numbered in LDraw? Keep 54043 and 54043b or go with a and b versions?

The b version is available as BI mesh. It looks very much like the 54043, also the locking ratchet.
The reinforcement is also present on y the older part, the render of the older part however doesn't show it.
a/b is ok, if necessary, we can rename
