Part request: 3757 - Minifigure, Weapon Crescent Blade - Paul Haan - 2025-06-21 I am trying finish up a MOC in BrickLink Studio and there is one part missing. BRicklink: 3757 - Minifigure, Weapon Crescent Blade Rebrickable: 3757 - Weapon Crescent Dart (Moon Knight) It is available in the Builder app under set 43258 Kakamora Barge. Could someone help get this park into BrickLink studio? When I tried to import it, it throws a Parts Not Found: s/3757s01.dat I tried the zip file but I honestly have no idea what I am doing. I clicked on the 3757.dat in the parts folder and got the same error even though I can see the file in the s directory. I am on a mac and several of the steps don't apply. I followed some steps I found elsewhere specifically for Mac and they still didn't work. I might just go with my alternate part. RE: Part request: 3757 - Minifigure, Weapon Crescent Blade - Orion Pobursky - 2025-06-25 There a tutorial for importing via Parts Designer somewhere. Perhaps one of our more Studio savvy regulars can help out? RE: Part request: 3757 - Minifigure, Weapon Crescent Blade - Chris Böhnke - 2025-06-25 I've imported them via Studio's PartDesigner and attached those files. Maybe these will help? Look for a folder like this and place them there: ~\Stud.io\CustomParts Unfortunately I don't have access to a Mac at the moment. If it still doesn't work, can you provide screenshots of the errors and/or the import process? br, Chris RE: Part request: 3757 - Minifigure, Weapon Crescent Blade - N. W. I followed some steps I found elsewhere specifically for Mac and they still didn't work. I might just go with my alternate part. The location of the custom parts folder on a Mac is not immediately obvious. It's in a directory that's normally hidden in the Finder; use the "Go to folder…" command and try entering this path (replace "your_username" as appropriate): Code: /Users/your_username/.local/share/Stud.io/CustomParts/parts This is the folder that shows up when you search under Custom Parts in Studio. (You'll probably have to re-launch Studio after adding parts to this folder before they'll show up.) RE: Part request: 3757 - Minifigure, Weapon Crescent Blade - Vincent Messenet - 2025-06-25 I'm on Mac and to add custom parts to Studio you have to go to the folder /Users/[YOUR USER NAME]/.local/share/Stud.io/CustomParts If CustomParts folder does not exist yet create it and then a subfolder named parts Extract the downloaded zip file and put the extracted files in the parts folder like this ![]() Launch Studio and you should see a new building palette, select Custom Parts instead of Main Now you should find the 3757 part Doing that way the part will have no connectivity info and you will have to place it manually using the Move tool. If you want to add connectivity to the part you don't need to follow what I described above but you will need to import the part using PartDesigner program available here https://www.bricklink.com/v3/studio/partdesigner.page Once downloaded and installed launch it and then click on Import then Choose a file... Browse to the unziped 3757.zip, select 3757.dat file and click on Insert The part should be visible, then switch to the Connectivity tab, select the Accessory connectivity category and the bar connectivity, adjust the bar appropriately (define the correct length and position). Then you should have something like this: Switch back to the Shape tab, select the part and click on Export to Studio Leave the Part name field as is and put 3757 in the two other fields, click on Export Launch Studio and you should see a new building palette, select Custom Parts instead of Main Now you should find the 3757 part with appropriate connectivity to minifig hands or to any other part having a clip. RE: Part request: 3757 - Minifigure, Weapon Crescent Blade - Paul Haan - 2025-06-28 Thank you very much for the help. I was able to import the part. I am not that concerned about the connection. I will just manually adjust the placement. Won't be able to tell from the instructions anyway. ![]() |
