Am I allowed to make a Box2-10p primitive or do I have to use the existing Box2-11 with an additional edge?

If the primitive you are wanting can be used in many parts, I think you have no problem doing it. On the contrary, I am affraid you need to stick to the actual primitives and/or improve with surfaces.
