How to obtain subrange of ovoid - Peter Blomberg - 2025-04-26 1 16 -29.3636 0 95.0925 74 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 -85 48\1-8edge.dat Considering the above curve, it starts from right and proceeds clockwise 6 out of 48 segments. The x and z radiuses are different. How do I obtain a curve with segments 2 to 6, i.e. without segment 1? Rotating the above by one 16th rotates also the ovoid, not just the "selection". RE: How to obtain subrange of ovoid - Rene Rechthaler - 2025-04-26 i could imagine two ways: -place a R1 5-48 prim, rotate it by 7.5deg (360/48), then scale it -inline the 1-6 prim and delete one segment both have their disadvantages: -the rotated+scaled prim will have a strange rotation matrix and strange connection points -inlining loses all prim links and properties |
