Alternative versions of Plate 2 x 2 with 1 Wheel Pin (4488 part) - Massimo Maso - 2025-03-16 Hello, I found that for part 4488 there seem to be various versions: 4488, 10313 and 67688. I'm not quite sure about the codes. In some sites 4488 and 10313 are indicated as aliases, but looking at the images of the lower part they are different, with two or three fins. The difference between 4488 and 67688 is clearly shown in Rebrickable. The center hole doesn't seem useful for inserting parts, but it's just a material saver. For us, it's just a small aesthetic change that could be omitted. Is it worth working on? I am attaching some images and a first model that I have prepared. It is not yet ready for publication and perhaps the names of the primitives should be revised a bit. Massimo RE: Alternative versions of Plate 2 x 2 with 1 Wheel Pin (4488 part) - Gerald Lasser - 2025-03-16 The BI knows only 10313 now. Would need some looks into the collections if one finds all three. The open pin is quite a prominent feature, but nothing attributes to a different function, so may be low prio to do There are parts, e.g. like the fork 45707 of the forklift, which comes as "a" and "b" which have more significant difference, imho. RE: Alternative versions of Plate 2 x 2 with 1 Wheel Pin (4488 part) - Orion Pobursky - 2025-03-17 I'm with Gerald. Interesting to note but not worth our time. RE: Alternative versions of Plate 2 x 2 with 1 Wheel Pin (4488 part) - Gerald Lasser - 2025-03-17 Interestingly, the one in the BI (10313) looks like 67688... nothing like the 10313 in real life... Edit, cncerning BI data Revision B shows the "real" 10313 Revision C upwards (currently H) shows 67688 |
