Part request Duplo Item No: 31442 - Lawford - 2025-01-10

Was looking for this item for a project I am working on Item No: 31442
Duplo, Train Track End with 2 x 4 Plate on One End
If anyone wishes to add it, that would be really great.

Is Peter Blomberg still around? He started working on some duplo tracks, maybe he wants to do this one too...
The part could reuse s\6377s01.dat
https://library.ldraw.org/parts/42013
You could use a standard track and a 2x4 plate in the meantime...

The pictures referenced are good enough to make a design. However, the underside is quite complex. I haven't seen those 45-degrees supports anywhere before. Maybe they can be skipped?

Is Jeff working on this part?

Hi Peter, A simpler version would be fine with me. Not sure if Jeff has done anything with it.

I think it pretty much looks like a straight forward part.

The 45 degree fillets don't serve an obvious purpose (apart from strengthening the part) for me.

I would just add them like this, using some box4

Code:
1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 -3 0 0 0 1 stud8.dat

1 16 -11.1028 2.5 11.1028 -1.06066 -2.82843 0 0 0 2.5 -1.06066 2.82843 0 box4-2p.dat

A version of the part is now on the tracker. I needed to find and see a picture from directly below (or above for transparent piece) the plate end to determine exactly where the understud was being cut in the z-direction. I found a picture of a transparent piece taken directly from above. Now fillets also added.

That's excellent Peter, thank you so much for your help.
