2566 Plant Tree Palm Top - Printable Version

2566 Plant Tree Palm Top - Sylvain Sauvage - 2024-11-14

Seems strange because the part is in LDraw since 1998 but it seems 2566 is wrong: the body is too long (24 LDU instead of 20 LDU) and the bottom bar too short (16 LDU instead of 24 LDU).

There’s no alternate ID so it shouldn’t be a variation.  Am I missing something?

Good spot.

I couldn't find my older ones currently, but the current LDraw model looks wrong.

It definitely doesn't match up with a 2023 one I have.

EDIT:
I also could not identify any known mold changes and the 20/24 LDU version seems to be way more in system.

There's even some collision with it's palm tree counterparts:
   

The lower segment cuts into the stopper ring of the tree trunk.

Should this become it's own part (2566b) or be just an update to the existing one?
