First ever web-based LDraw building system - sirri onallah - 2024-10-23

Hi,

I have developed the first-ever web-based building system for LDraw bricks. I would like to get in touch with any members of the steering committee, if possible.

Thank you!

Looks LeoCAD-like. Is it based on LeoCAD?

Looks good!
Does it already run somewhere public or is a local copy somewhere?
Which engine/language does it use?

The SteerCo is always reading here. Otherwise, a mail to: webmaster[AT]ldraw.org will do, as three of us will get your mail.

We have released our first web-based building simulator, Click Brick, on our website www.clicbrick.com
This version is currently running as an experimental release, and some bugs are expected.
We will begin fixing these issues in the coming months.
We hope you enjoy it.

I tried the rendering option, but non of the ground textures show up:

I tried Firefox, Edge and Chrome.

It would also be nice if the exported mpd would use the name you save your build as.

Thank you for your notes—they are extremely valuable to us. Your point about file naming and saving is well taken, and we will work on improving this in future releases. Regarding the rendering issue, we will investigate the bug and fix it as soon as possible. Please keep sending us your feedback; it is of the utmost importance to us at this stage.

Found another issue with the mpd export. When using the door or window you can not open the file in LDview.
The are placed as "4132,4133.dat" and "4130,4131.dat" in the file. As these submodels are not part of the LDraw library they cause an error in LDview. These assemblies should be included in the mpd under the main model as inline files.

When you place one of the door/window assemblies the render also stops working.
