Milky Way Magic Chest 1995-1998 (Promotional) - Eugen - 2024-10-05

The Milky Way Magic Chest (or simply "Magic Chest") was a series of products made by Mars, Inc., produced in 1995-1998 in a form of the small paperboard boxes, each with a single Milky Way chocklate and one of the few LEGO® SYSTEM™ Promotional sets from FreeStyle theme:

There was few themes introduced in the Milky Way "Magic Chest":
  • Transport (1995, blue boxes), called "in the clouds, on ground and on sea"
  • Farmer and pets (199?, pink boxes), called "funny"
  • Animals (199?, winter decorated boxes), called "in the clouds, on ground and on sea", mix of sets from its Transport and Farm themes

NOTE: LDraw MPD file made with the latest LeoCAD ("continuous" build), designed to be a container for whole "Magic Chest" series, where each theme is a separate submodel, consisting of 4 or 5 theme models (as separate submodels). Also, for each promotional set theme models are based on there are submodels, which in turns consisting of each its subset (3 variants per set).

Milky Way Magic Chest - Transport (1995)

It was a series of 5 boxes, each with the one of five LEGO® SYSTEM™ Promotional sets (each set consisted of 3 subsets):
  1. 1777 set:
    1. 1777-1 - Airplane (Low-Wing)
    2. 1777-2 - Airplane (High-Wing)
    3. 1777-3 - Cargo Vessel (Container Ship, Barge)
  2. 1778 set:
    1. 1778-1 - Police Patrol Boat [?]
    2. 1778-2 - Police Vessel [?]
    3. 1778-3 - Police Speed Boat [?]
  3. 1779 set:
    1. 1779-1 - Seaplane
    2. 1779-2 - Helicopter
    3. 1779-3 - Snowmobile [?]
  4. 1823 set:
    1. 1823-1 - Sailboat
    2. 1823-2 - Airplane
    3. 1823-3 - Yacht [?]
  5. 1859 set:
    1. 1859-1 - Airplane (Low-Wing) - same as 1777-1, but in different colors
    2. 1859-2 - Airplane (Low-Wing, with short wings)
    3. 1859-3 - Narrowboat (Houseboat, Riverboat)

It also provides a partial instruction for 4 models (originally unnamed) could be built from combination of this sets:
  1. Transport-1 - Large Passenger Airplane (Airliner)
  2. Transport-2 - Cargo Plane (Transport Aircraft)
  3. Transport-3 - Cargo Vessel (Container Ship, Oil/Grain Tanker)
  4. Transport-4 - Cargo Car (Flatbed Truck)

My windows 4.5 doesnT' do that.

But looking in the file (and at the picture) it seems that it replaces yellow with the colour used before the last yellow part. in your file this is mostly blue, but also red on some occasions.

and if the previous colour is a transparent one, it picks even one before

interesting.
