Mirroring 42938 - Roland Melkert - 2024-06-07 I've been trying to figure out the LDCad mirror meta parameters needed for "Car Track 16 x 8 x 2 Curve". Normally you set a rotation point and rotate the part into its own counter part. But I'm having problems determining that point as the part seems to be slightly off. I think it should be half x of the highest point at the arc between the 2 red bricks. But the two red bricks use different x values (non symmetrical?). It should probably be close to 172 0 0, but this puts it on 320.956369 0 86 instead of 320 0 086 Is this part just not suitable for mirroring or I'm a missing something, thoughts? current shadow: Code: 0 LDCad shadow info for "Car Track 16 x 8 x 2 Curve" RE: Mirroring 42938 - Roland Melkert - 2024-06-07 (2024-06-07, 1:00)Roland Melkert Wrote: It should probably be close to 172 0 0, but this puts it on 320.956369 0 86 instead of 320 0 086Found it, it's: 171.38785 0 -0.371868 (couldn't let it rest ) Full meta: Code: 0 !LDCAD MIRROR_INFO [baseFlip=Z] [counterPart=self] [posCor=171.38785 0 -0.371868] [oriCor=-0.866025 0 0.5 0 1 0 -0.5 0 -0.866025] Still seems a weird location to me though. |
