Problem with rendering flexed part - CJ H. - 2022-04-21 Hi all, I flexed a part in LDCad which needs to be rendered in Studio. In Studio instruction maker, the part looks fine, but when I render it has gaps: That's the catalog (unflexed) part on top and the flexed part on the bottom. Maybe this is a hint: I notice something I haven't seen before in the file: the flexed part has a subfile. It says: Code: 0 //Fixed color segments Any ideas? Thanks, cj RE: Problem with rendering flexed part - Roland Melkert - 2022-04-21 (2022-04-21, 16:47)CJ H. Wrote: I flexed a part in LDCad which needs to be rendered in Studio. In Studio instruction maker, the part looks fine, but when I render it has gaps: This probably has to do with studio normalizing the scaled sections. A workaround for this is discussed in this thread: https://forums.ldraw.org/thread-23006.html?highlight=scale RE: Problem with rendering flexed part - CJ H. - 2022-04-22 (2022-04-21, 17:08)Roland Melkert Wrote: This probably has to do with studio normalizing the scaled sections. Thanks Roland. That solved the problem for me. I had referred to that thread a long time ago when I was first learning LDCad, but had completely forgotten about it. |
