93230 Minifigure Hairpiece with Pointed Ears - Matthew Coleman - 2021-04-27

I have another request for a part that is not available on LDraw.

It's the minifigure hairpiece with pointed ears, which is commonly used in elf minifigures.

Oh, and I would prefer the pointed ears to be recolorable because I need to color the black-haired version with red ears for a LEGO Ideas project. You could even add alternate versions of each file with recolorable hair as well, if that idea sounds good.

The good news is that the mesh is available on digitalbricks.de. This means that those who are better at processing those meshes than me will prolly have it on the Tracker shortly.

Thanks! However, I was hoping for an alternate version with the hair part colored so I could color the ears red for my Powerpuff Girls project on LEGO Ideas.

Yes, LDraw specification explicitly mandates that variable color be plastic color, not painted one.

Okay, I'm having a problem with this custom part file. It's invisible unless I rename the file's name to "93230". After doing that, the ears are uncolored.

   


Could you please help me?

EDIT: It's okay now, all I had to do was download the subfiles.
