42115 Lamborghini Sian, New Body Parts - Gerald Lasser - 2020-05-31

Sariel has done a nice video of the new Technic Supercar, as a bonus it comes also with a lot of details for the new body parts. Seems Part 18944 is kind of a seed part concerning geometric similarities.

Out of curiosity I have applied the similarities to the triangular panel, I have attached the result, as I want to finish the Minions first.

So feel free to take them further.

at 7:23 the new curved mudguard, also borrowing the curve from 18944.

at 8:41 there is the new 19x3x1 Panel

There is also a quite extensive information on the rims starting at 6:00

Oh, yes! I did, but it is in a state too bad for presentation... Taking screenshots from Sariel's video...
I plan to visit the LEGO store some time this week to get some better measurements, unfortunately you cannot order it through LEGO Spare parts, got the other parts, but not this nice rim :-)

I am still amazed by the construction of your Bugatti rim!

Parts have arrived (except the rim...)

time to finish them! Interestingly the (cut-out) arch of the mudguard is actually 3 LDU lower than the one on the 24118 panel

Finally got time now to finish the parts. My plan is to have the Rotor Blade completed till the end of the week, the two triangular panels mid next week and finally the wheel arch as last part hopefully end next week.

I attach the wheel part/subpart for the time being here if somebody wants to continue, they are pretty "dirty". I have a wheel on order.

I got the rim in the meantime, but it slipped down the priority list... and I am still looking in awe at your Bugatti rim...

Getting close! Center to be completed. Now it is pretty much ready to be used, one may be a bit of tweaking on the inside where the spokes meet. Cleaning up the files....
