AIOI request - Michael Horvath - 2020-01-24
Please, if you could make it possible to NOT install LDView by default that would be great, as I use the development version on GitHub.
Also, please add a way to cancel uninstallation before it starts. Right now, it immediately uninstalls all the programs without a way to back out. Ideally, I could also pick which applications I want to modify/uninstall, but that might be asking too much.

Hi Michael,
I think this suggestion is not a good idea and would like to take an opposite position:
LDView is IMHO "the" essential viewers of LDRAW.
It's the one that you get when you double click a file and quickly want to look at it.
(Are there others? Do you work differently? Let me know.)
It should be enabled inside the installation by default IMHO.
(A user should be able to untick the checkbox for its installation, of course.)
Reason behind this:
The case that you as a developer use a newer version from github is not true for all other users of the LDRAW library:
not everyone is a developer.
