Help with scaling a part size. - ShireBrickz.com - 2019-11-20 Looking for help on how to scale a parts size. I've created a sticker using this https://wiki.ldraw.org/wiki/Stickers:_making_a_random_shape_one tutorial as a guide. Whilst the sticker I've created is the correct thickness, the size is too small. Is there a way to scale the part in the X,Y planes proportionally to my desired size in LDU's whilst leaving the Z thickness unchanged.? Thanks in advance. Adam RE: Help with scaling a part size. - Philippe Hurbain - 2019-11-20 Since you followed this tutorial I guess you use LDPE... so it is simple: - Calculate your scaling factor - reset orientation and origin of manipulator - Select the entire sticker (ctrl+A) - Action -> scale selection -> fill in X and Z scaling with the factor previously calculated (and let Y scaling at 1) - OK RE: Help with scaling a part size. - ShireBrickz.com - 2019-11-20 (2019-11-20, 10:44)Philippe Hurbain Wrote: Since you followed this tutorial I guess you use LDPE... so it is simple: Thanks, Worked perfectly. |
