Dual molded leg - Orion Pobursky - 2019-09-23 Looks like we'll need to make a file for dual molded legs: RE: Dual molded leg - Philippe Hurbain - 2019-09-23 https://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptscan.cgi?q=boots RE: Dual molded leg - Orion Pobursky - 2019-09-23 (2019-09-23, 16:31)Philippe Hurbain Wrote: https://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptscan.cgi?q=boots Boots is not what I would expect. A rename may be in order. Rename "with boots" to something more descriptive - Orion Pobursky - 2019-09-23 (2019-09-23, 16:31)Philippe Hurbain Wrote: https://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptscan.cgi?q=boots Thinking more about this. I really do think we should rename this to "dual color" or "dual mold". "Boots" does not, in my mind, evoke what this part really is. RE: Rename "with boots" to something more descriptive - Magnus Forsberg - 2019-09-23 I agree. "Boots" is not a good description. These two-coloured legs are now also printed, sometimes the pattern is placed across the joint. Barefoot, flip-flops, shoes, boots, shorts, knee-pads, to name just a few patterns. Another question. What part of these two-coloured legs should be uncolored? Upper or lower? Except maybe in the subparts. I want to change the description on all of these files and use "Lower Leg" instead of "Boots". 20460, 20460p01-p09, 20460pd87, 20460pd92 20461, 20461p01-p09, 20461pd87, 20461pd92 21019, 21019p01-p09, 21019pd87, 21019pd92 Like this: 20460pd87 "Minifig Leg Left with White Lower Leg and Green Sandals Pattern s\20460s01, ~Minifig Leg Left Dual Mold Upper Half s\20460s02, ~Minifig Leg Left Dual Mold Lower Half s\20460s03, ~Minifig Leg Left Dual Mold Lower Half without Front and Side s\20460s04, ~Minifig Leg Left Dual Mold Upper Half without Front and Side RE: Dual molded leg - Philippe Hurbain - 2019-12-13 Works for me! My understanding is that "mould" is the preferred British spelling, and Australians more often use British spellings than American ones. However, I don't know the preferred Australian spelling in this case. RE: Dual molded leg - Magnus Forsberg - 2019-12-20 These are now renamed by Admin.
