Angled shortcuts - Willy Tschager - 2019-01-06 Guys, I find all these shortcuts: http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.cgi?f=parts/4000c01-f1.dat http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.cgi?f=parts/3831c01-f3.dat with all the different angles unnecessary, as it would bloat our library if we start adding variants of all the hinges. The Flexible_Section has been added for parts such as books, laptops or suitcases which cannot be naturally separated. Please delete the above variants from the PT. w. RE: Angled shortcuts - Philippe Hurbain - 2019-01-06 I mostly agree... RE: Angled shortcuts - Magnus Forsberg - 2019-01-06 Me too, This is info that could be added as HELP info. I have a similar aversion against the wheel+tyre shortcuts. Bricklink have a list of matching combinations: Two examples: Match #271: 5 rims x 7 tyre = 35 shortcuts Match #280: 6 rims x 6 tyre = 36 shortcuts This issue has been discussed before here. That ladder, however, could be useful, but only the variant (Lowered (0°) you mention here. No need for all angles. But I can see why these might be considered to be library bloat, so I will remove them. |
