Brickalo - Can Computers Play With Lego? - Neil Marsden - 2018-11-02 Hello LDRAW people I’d thought I’d share a Lego LDraw based website I’ve created - www.brickalo.com - I’ve been working on getting a Python program to better understand how LDraw Lego parts might fit together. Brickalo creates unique LDraw .ldr files (and pretty pictures) containing 100 various Lego bricks randomly assembled by a computer (which is harder than it looks!)
It uses the command line version of MODO (which is freely accessible without a full license) to render the images
Let me know what you think
Thanks
Neil

However I also would like to know how the MODO command line script works. w. I quite like the idea of the spam bots filling in the form and getting a rainbow Lego tower! So bots would be asking a bot to build Lego! As I’ve said to Phillipe there are some notes on my blog https://cultofthebrick.blogspot.com/?m='1 about Modo and I’ll share my command line script when I’m back in next weekWilly Tschager Wrote:(2018-11-02, 10:46)Neil Marsden Wrote: RE: Brickalo - Can Computers Play With Lego? - Neil Marsden - 2018-11-05 I've added a post on my blog https://cultofthebrick.blogspot.com/2018/11/brickalo-modo-command-line-file.html This provides a link to the modo_cl script file that I use to render the Rainbow Lego Towers that you see on www.brickalo.com I've also included the command to create 360 turnarounds so that you can also create turnaround movies of your models (I don't use it on Brickalo currently but it's a useful function to know) Enjoy RE: Brickalo - Can Computers Play With Lego? - Philippe Hurbain - 2018-11-05 (2018-11-05, 8:26)Neil Marsden Wrote: I've added a post on my blog Thanks, Neil.
