Minifig Legs > Dual Injection - Gerald Lasser - 2018-03-06

Do we have sub-parts of the relevant upper and lower legs?

I have not seen a hip/legs combo inthe library so far. Am I right to say that those are not yet modeled?

Shall we model them or just realize those parts as "print" on the normal legs?

Afaik they are missing indeed. I'd make supbarts for easy reuse but without trying to create any internal structure as it is unknown.

These are available in LDD, as:
20460, MINI LEG LEFT NO. 2, LOWER PART
20461, MINI LEG RIGHT NO. 2, LOWER PART

The mesh is complete, but needs to be divided into lower/upper halves, and be subfiled.
But it looks like these LDD meshes are as bad as our old legs 3816 and 3817
Please keep in mind that the current design of the old leg is incorrect, as described here.

How about partnumbers?
according to LDD the complete assembly is 21019.

I can read this on my parts:
left foot = 20926
left leg = ??

right foot = 20932
right leg = ??

Should these hip+legs shortcuts use the same hip as the old version 3815, or should it use Nils updated design 3815b?

Should top or bottom part be hardcoded in a colour?

Maybe the LDD mesh could be used as a guide on where the dividing line is, but I think that Nils's new hip+legs should be used.

If I find a double one I will cut them apart...

The pain is that some of them have their pattern printed across lower and upper leg section
