models from 60’s, 70’s and 80’s - paulo - 2017-07-20 i don’t know if this is a repeated thread since i have a huge nostalgic feeling from the models i had from my childhood (even those from 60’s, still were on sale when i was a child), did anyone tried to start to build and organize these models in .ldr files? i guess that most of the instructions of these models can be find at http://lego.brickinstructions.com/en/showallyears i’m starting to index them at: https://etherpad.net/p/LegoModelsFrom60s https://etherpad.net/p/LegoModelsFrom70s (2 models there) https://etherpad.net/p/LegoModelsFrom80s thanks a lot indeed! RE: models from 60’s, 70’s and 80’s - paulo - 2017-07-20 for example, this one: https://etherpad.net/p/Lego_616_CargoShip_1976 (text-editable .ldr file) http://lego.brickinstructions.com/en/lego_instructions/set/616/Cargo_Ship (instructions) RE: models from 60’s, 70’s and 80’s - Martin James - 2017-07-22 (2017-07-20, 20:19)paulo Wrote: ... did anyone tried to start to build and organize these models in .ldr files?... No, but you've given me an idea I guess my nostalgia goes back further than yours (which is why much of my LDraw domain is the world of Minibrix, from the 1930s to 60s, rather than Lego). I first "got into" Lego in 1957 when I was taken on a holiday to Germany. This was before Lego had hit the UK, and I brought a set back with me, much to the interest of all my friends. And, as they say, the rest is history. So I think I might have a go at doing a collection of the very early models. It could be a fun project. If you're interested, in addition to all my Minibrix models I have done a number of Lego/LDraw recreations. These are mainly of well-known historical houses, but do also including the classic "Lego Ideas House". Ldr files available on request!
