Looks excellent.
Can you provide me a good big hi res scan of the pattern on this torso?
I'd like to try it with texture mapping too, now that we're into it ;-)
Though your pattern create with LDraw geometry is surely great, I am curious how this looks with textmapped PNG.

I did my pattern using these images (not really hires, but more than enough for the exercise...):
