21309 - NASA Apollo Saturn V - WIP - Jaco van der Molen - 2017-06-09

While building for real will start as soon as I get my set (which will be soon, I hope) here is my WIP for the digital model of the Saturn V rocket.

If you'd ask someone without any knowledge of this se, if one could tell what this was, I am curious what they'd say.

I'd be surprised if they said: a rocket.

Yeah, I'd rather say a flying saucer seen from top Smile

Rocket done!

Now for the moonlander and landing module :-)

And start building the thing with bricks! ;-)

Nice work! Just to let you know, I have just uploaded most of the printed bricks to the tracker.

Oh, nice. I'll look for them.
I finished the real thing yesterday BTW. What a nice build. I never thought it to be so sturdy :-)

Haven't done the rest, but here is the LDraw file for the rocket.

Still, missing lander and stands.

And here OMR compliant:

Hi,

The OMR entry seems to have the wrong .mpd file: contrarily to what it says, it has only the rocket and no decorated parts 🤔
