Help with "curve" a part - Miriana - 2017-01-26

Hi all!

I'm Miriana, I'm a lego fan aholic enthusiasitc...^^

I use mlcad, now I'm making "millenium falcon" from star wars (mod. 7778) and I need help with a part.

I need to "curve" Corrugated Pipe 112Mm as flexible part to put on model (as shown on attached image).

Can you help me?

Hello,

When you are using MLCAD the best option to work with bent parts is LSYNTH.
Actually it should be in your installation if you used the AIO Installer from the LDraw Website.

Here is a tutorial of its use:

Another Option is LDCad, a fairly new CAD program where communication pertaining to its features is very active in this forum.

Not sure if you mean you used LSynth, but this is how you would do it in LDCad

   

ps: It is probably best to use the LQ version of the hose.

For now I use mlcad, for me is so useful than ldcad.

I must learn how use it for simple model before making complex model as milleninum falcon.

I've 1.5 verision not 1.6 beta.

Are tutorial on internet to use ldcad?
