Overhang on turns for monorail - Ben Supnik - 2016-04-11 Hi Y'all, I built a design that uses the old 4-wide monorail, e.g. this: (picture of monorail) From the picture, you can see that as the train goes around a turn, the front of the train extends outside the track. Once the train straightens, the train fits within the 4-wide track's "airspace". Does anyone know how far into a straight-away the train has to advance to no longer overhang the outside of the track? Does the motor have to reach a straight segment to fully 'straighten' the nose? (I fear that by building adjacent station platforms outside the loop just after a turn, I have built an "impossible" MOC...) Thanks! Ben |
