Electric connector pins - Stephen - 2016-02-27 Can the pins from these electric connectors be removed and used directly into a light brick, as shown on the right two lights? It certainly looks like there is no necessity to have the grey connector housing there, but it's been so long since I used a real one of these that I can't remember (30+ years!) I'm running very short of space trying to use these lights in the ceiling space between an inverted-tiled ceiling and tiled floor and it would be useful if the grey connector housing could be dispensed with completely. It seems that every style of connector I try the housing clashes with the nearby tiles or studs. Re: Electric connector pins - Gerald Lasser - 2016-02-27 I have got only the right one, and removing the screw allows you to pull the pin out to the front and use it without the grey part. PS: I dropped the damned screw and it is really tiny...but found it again Re: Electric connector pins - Stephen - 2016-02-28 Thanks! |
