I got it. I’ve just been a bit swamped IRL. I’ll try figure out what we want to do and get back to you very soon.

What is the status of this repo? Is it "up to date" with newer parts as well as Darat's parts? Is it public or private?

There is no status. It doesn't exist because I dropped the ball on this.

Oh, that's too bad. I've collected a lot of parts, but can't always remember which person's parts need to be applied first and which need to be applied last (and override the others). I would rather just periodically download them all from ldraw.org.

I haven't forgotten about this, it's priority just lowered a few notches.

Is there any licensing issue? Or is it not an issue? Just curious, thanks.

So from what I undestand, only some patterns are grainy, and obviously, the unpatternd part is not, so I would say that my version is correct.

So you have two solutions for you render:
- use my LGEO.xml file, use my package, recreate the .pov file from ldview
- use my package, keep your existing L3P generated .pov file, remove all lg_2582_slope related stuff from your .pov file (if you can give me the entire .pov file I can do it for you).

BTW, are you still using L3P or are you only trying to rerender an old file?

Sorry for the late reply.

Instead of removing the part from the model, do you maybe mean replacing the part with something else? I don't want a hole to appear in my model where a missing part is supposed to be.

I must admit that I don’t remember what I meant...
