Version 2 of the LDraw All-In-One-Installer 2012-02, in short AIOI, has been released. It comes with:

* MPDCenter 2.0.0.5
* Fixed a bug which wouldn't install any tutorials is MLCad wasn't selected for install.

The AIOI supports Windows XP (Home and Pro), Windows Vista (all versions) and Windows 7 (all versions). On 64-Bit Operating Systems it will install in the "Program files (x86)" folder. The Installer will NOT run on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT Ver 4, 2000, or XP below SP2.

You can download the AIOI from:

I should have contacted you this morning.
MPDCenter 2.0.0.6 has been released yesterday with a major BUGFIX.
Please read the announcement here
No blames. It usually takes 2-3 days to:

* compile/upload/notify the Peeron.com/1000Steine.de admins
* get feedback/download link from the admins
* edit/announce the AIOI page

since I do not have direct access to the server.

During the test install from AIOI I got a 8464.mpd delivered that needs an unofficial file 2996.dat.

This might cause questions for people that are new to LDraw.org. I would only clean official file deliver in an AIOI.

Attached please find a version of that file that is according to MPDCenter a valid OMR file.
That's the model that ships with LDView, correct? I'll copy your version to the model folder (the first Technic model in the AIOI) and delete the two files in the LDView folder. Thanks for pointing out.

I have already mentioned this to Travis some months ago:
http://forums.ldraw.org/showthread.php?t...61#pid4561
My suggestion was to not deliver a model using unofficial files.
But Travis wanted to demonstrate the method of LDView's downloading of unofficial files, as far as I remember.
After some more thinking, I would find it more important that the downloaded model is self-contained;
a demonstration of the downloading feature is not really needed IMHO.
