Hi,
My wanted part is the Superman Hair from the recent Super Heroes Lego.
Basically the hair with the curl at the front. Is there such a part?
Yes it is. Here it is

It is present in LDD, so it could be done. Give me some time, and I'll give it a try.
Thank you Magnus. Smile

Hi Magnus. Did you manage to do this?

I have LDD (Lego Digital Designer) but don't have the part (as I've had a look) and I don't know how to get it either.
If I could get it, i wouldn't know where to put it on my system to load it into LDD??
I'm working on it now.

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly You have LDD, but can't find part 98726?
Are you using the "LDD Extended" mode?
Go to: View \ New Themes \ LDD Extended, and 98726 should become playable.
Thank you for working on it Magnus.

I have only used LDD a few times and was not aware of the different modes; or that I could type in a number and the part appears in the list on the left: very cool!
Hi Magnus,

Just wondering, if you had finished the Superman Hair model/ part?

Darren
Yes, it is done now.
It took a lot more work than I initially expected.

Let me know what you think about it.
I've started with the torso now.

A mock-up placeholder is here.
Thank you so much Magnus, it looks great! Smile

I would love to know how to create a .dat file from LDD, as I can only make the .ldr (but without the .dat file it's useless!)
Wow, that's so cool!

Hi Darren,
See http://forums.ldraw.org/showthread.php?t...45#pid1145. But to create a LDraw part good enough for Parts Tracker this conversion is only the tip of the iceberg, mainly because converted parts don't use LDraw primitives that define connection points.
The torso is ready and uploaded now.

I've made him a face too.
I had to make a new subfile. You need to download that one too.

Leg godt, Magnus
Where to get the Printscreen Application?! Seems that it's not longer available at 3dvia. :-(

You've got mail...

Just seen this, they are great - thank you Magnus.

Also, the new Team GB minifigures that are available have an Archer that has the same hair as the Superman figure.
(Just thought i'd mention it because when I saw the figure I thought of the hair model!)
