So on my first time here I accidently pressed to always download as a .Dat file.
I need .ipt, does anyone know how to change the file download or any tips to convert it?

IPT as in AutoDesk Inventor?

These models are not meant to be exacting especially not at Inventor level of precision.

You would be better off making models unless you simply need them as reference parts for a rough guide.
You can export .dat to .stl and .obj formats.

As far as I know, Inventor can import .stp - so you would only need conversion from .obj/.stl to .stp, which probably is possible as well.

However those exports will likely be just meshes, not the native type of volumetric models you would expect in professional CAD software, so expect a lot of issues (if it works at all).
