Great! but I think that the field of view of your render is too wide: the spheres look distorted/elongated

I knowI agree in this one... but this is not my render, I just build the models and send the file to Dadudi designer and let him use his renders skills

Nice work guys !
Any plan for the LEGO SET 42174-1 - Emirates Team New Zealand AC75 Yacht ? (even if without the sails)

i could do it
Thanks Philo !
Hope somebody will make the LEGO SET 42174-1 - Emirates Team New Zealand AC75 Yacht sometime

Please give me some advice:
I have downloaded part 90498 of 42172. What should I do to display it correctly in Studio?
https://library.ldraw.org/tracker/41120
PS. I downloaded 90498pt1.zip and placed it in the correct folder C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Stud.io\CustomParts
Studio doesnt like TEXMAP...
try downloading that pic separately and apply it via the Studio PartDesigner.
I started 42177 in LDCAD but progress is slow..
I worry that I'll do a load of work, but then someone will beat me and get the model finished in ldcad/studio.
Then well I may as well delete mine 🙄
I'm done, thank you.

Here is another variant, made with all the building instruction steps.
Model made from scratch with LeoCAD, rendered with Blender (+ ImportLDraw add-on).

Hi all,
Hereby set 412401 - Wrecking Ball Crane paper bag.
Stumbled over these by accident in a google search and browsing.
Not mentioned on Lego.com. Apparently released in a Lego Discover Magazine Technic.
3 Magazines were released in 2024.
Fun about these sets is that they come without building instruction in the package. The BI is in the magazine. But you can build the sets from the photo on the pack.
Set is complete and MPD compliant.
No missing parts.
Regards, Allard

Hi all,
Just for fun, this is the one for Magazine 1 in 2025 a Fire Truck.
Again a fun build, not verified yet.

Hi all,
The second one for 2025 but just found a picture today so tried it as well.
Again a great small set of a combiner harvester. I expect number to be 412502, but could not find it.
Enjoy.

I see more and more Stud.io build sets. Is it possible to convert stud.io to MLcad?
(2025-02-21, 19:43)aefferen Wrote: [ -> ]I see more and more Stud.io build sets. Is it possible to convert stud.io to MLcad?
Yes it is (mostly). Studio can export/import LDraw files. But the result is not perfect (to say the least), as there are discrepancies between part availability, file names and origin/orientation...

Sorry, but I can't upload a 22MB file as an attachment.
I also didn't realize the link was blocked, try this:

Looks like file size is the culprit…an LDraw model even of several thousand parts should only be in the hundreds of kilobytes.

the size is because its a .io file not a ldr/mpd dont know if they are allowed here

Ya, there's a attachment size limit. However, you can upload a zip but if the size of the file is mostly images that probably won't work either.
Since I notice that you mention custom images, one thing you can do is use an image optimizer to reduce the image file size. This often results in a dramatic size reduction.

They are, though they would be comparable in size to LDraw files. I notice there's an .ldr file of 27 MB embedded within this .io, plus a lot of custom parts.
That's all fine, there's no prohibition that I'm aware of. It just may be worth checking into the cause of the excess file size, since in most cases it should be possible to fit an official model as an attachment within the current limits.
A beautiful model, but unfortunately it is not OMR-compliant.

In the model there are 19 pieces with stickers, in 8bit PNG format, which weigh only 2.5 MB.
The model without stickers weighs 8MB
The count doesn't add up!
the integration of the stickers, is calculated incorrectly in the final .io file.

It appears that the big file (model2.ldr) is an MPD file with all parts (official or otherwise) included inside the file. I have no idea why Stud.io would do this.

you found the password?
funfact the .io files are nothing more then renamed password protected zip files
