It is not true; the part IS available in Lego B.I.A in set (at least) 60380 as part 29636. Here is the raw mesh (with minimal corrections and using the proper number)

Indeed I looked at the folder name only but did not extract the 3D meshes to check. However there is no functional difference between both parts. Here is a raw file including edges.

It is indeed a different mould, thicket attachment point of the whisksand flattened.
Why did they add the anti roll notch? SOmebody from workplace saftex did an audit?
