Hello, since the digital instructions are out today, I want to build the Rivendell set digitally.
But there are some pieces missing (no critical ones):
- Plant, w/Plate 2x3x2, No. 1 (Design ID 2682)
- lotsa new Weapons (Axe, Swords, Sting, broken Narsil)
- new headgear and wigs (Gimli Helmet 2675 and Beard 2676, Legolas/Elrond Hair 100953, dual molded, like 10055p01)
- new Heads and Torsos
Edit: not new but still missing: 36806
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/cat...conly%22:0}
80497 is very similar to 43892, but still new

I think I will just build the base without the figures to add them later.
hopefully they will add the 3D files for the instructions app, so far only the PDF instructions are available

Hello Gerald,

Correct, however among the different LEGO apps, there is no common directory, so it is a bit of a hunt for each app (Instructiosn/catalogue) where the files are finally. For the instructions app, they can be found unter /files/UnityCache/Shared there are files which have the Design-ID in their filename. You can view/export them with a Unity Browser, e.g. Asset Studio.
Most exports unfortunately miss all the standard studs and tubes.

Perfect ! It works perfectly. Thanks a lot.
I found a catalog with the set, but it seems that it's not work with the app Sad

Here you are the part 36806 in raw version extract from the app.

This is not usable, to convert to ldraw standards.  It is not sized correctly, and the mesh is way to high in resolution.

There is a tool in LDPE called MeshReducer, but I have never used it. How does it work?
There doesn't seem to be any settings I can use to control the result.

What would be the best way here? Resize first, and then reduce, or start by reducing the mesh?

36806 is also available from digital-bricks.

The data from the catalogue app is sometimes very very detailed and difficult to reduce.

BTW: I got the new plants on my table!

Hello Natalie,

You have to import the part from LDraw (here) with Studio Part Designer.

Can you explain me how you can get the original part shape from LEGO Instructions App ? You talk about "LEGO Builder" app or "Catalogue en 3D" ?
