The 2022-06 LDraw Parts Update has been released. This update adds 434 new files to the core library, including 333 new parts and 7 new primitives.

Thanks are due to all the part authors who created or corrected parts for this release. The small, but dedicated, band of reviewers also play an important role in keeping files moving through the Parts Tracker and deserve just as much credit. This update wouldn't have been possible without their dedication and attention to detail.

You can preview the new parts in 2022-06 here, and download the zip-file update or Windows install package here. Alternatively you can use the LDView menu option File | Check for Library Updates... to install the update.

Look for my "Parts Library Year in Review" after the New Year (a new thing I'm going to start).

I wanted to make a full cleanup of my library so I tried to download complete.zip. But download fails at about 40Mb, both with Chrome and Seamonkey. Any tip? I seem to remember a similar situation at last parts update, but I avoided the problem using the delta update.

Seems to be "fixed", since I just succesfully downloaden complete.zip via https://www.ldraw.org/parts/latest-parts.html > https://www.ldraw.org/library/updates/complete.zip

I was successful, too, although it did seem to come through rather slower than expected.

Tried again, same problem at 40MB

I've mirrored on the beta site, try that. If that doesn't work there's something up on your end.

I start to wonder if it's not a local problem... Just tried with yet another browser (Edge) and it failed again at the same limit. Jaco sent me complete.zip via google drive and I could get it in a pinch. Puzzled.

Thanks all for this update. Hope to get a cleaner to-do list the coming months, finding time seems to be an issue lately
