Hello,

Thanks again for creating my previous requested parts.

I'd like to request Pirates Sail 9 x 11 with 3 Holes (sailbb24), in flat and formed shapes.

While we're on the subject, what's the typical process for creating formed versions of a part like this?

And then the follow-up, would it be feasible to devise a GUI-based tool for manipulating flat parts into formed ones, possibly even to be integrated into an LDraw model editor?

It's a very manual process. I create the flat sail surface, then slice it and bend each section till the attachment holes fit correctly the masts... I then either duplicate/translate the surface and create the edge (if curvature is low enough) or make an extrusion (with Meshmixer) if curvature is too high.
Long overdue, but the formed versions are now on PT!

Thanks very much, Philo!!

I'll update the model file of set 6267 and 6273.
Updated the models without this sail: Set 6267, Set 6273

They look gorgeous indeed. No problem detected using the sail?

I couldn't see any problems in these models and posted certify reviews.
