In regards to arezey's comment, should we rename these parts to "Constraction Shield ..." or stick with "Technic Shield ..."?

As I can’t remember any use in a ordinary technic set I would go for constraction shield

ditto. I think that even if they do have Technic connections (and even if used later in some Technic sets), weird parts born in Slizers/Bionicle/Hero factory etc should be in Constraction category.

Sounds like a larger project. I'll start a new thread once I investigate how many parts I think are affected.
