when I download brick 78442 I get a strange file, maybe I do not understand the certificates or I am doing something wrong with the file?

You didn't forgot the subfile, did you? https://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.c...442s01.dat
This one is to be placed in s\ subfolder of your parts folder.
