Hey LDraw community,
I am having an issue with importing my .ldr file into Unity.
I am using the Lego model importer that comes with the Lego Mini Game on the Unity game engine website.
When I import my model, parts of it are rotated on in the wrong position.
I checked the ldraw xml file and I have the most recent version.
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Hi (and welcome here!)
Quote:I checked the ldraw xml file and I have the most recent version.
Are you sure? The version that I installed here with Unity is dated 2020-02-02 and doesn't contain mapping for parts 65634, 65635 and 66727. Latest one is stamped 2020-12-23.
Unity LDraw.xml is located in C:\Users\{your user name}\MyFirstGame\Library\PackageCache\com.unity.lego.modelimporter@3.0.2\Data
Keep a backup the original one if the new one doesn't work (it seems to be fine here)
Thank you for the reply!

You are correct I hadn't updated the xml file like I thought and now get no import errors.
However, the positioning of parts is still not correct.
Do you know how to fix this?

Can you share your LDraw model?

Here you go.
OK, sorry, I give up with this one: looks like ldraw.xml gets overwritten when Microgame is launched

No worries, thank you so much for having a look for me and helping me out.
I will use other bricks instead.
