Have you tried using Philo's prepacked version?

If you want to use LEGO and VEX mixed in the same LDCad installation you just can do so by adding Philio's parts as an unoffical library, see also:

Si desea usar LEGO y VEX mezclados en la misma instalación de LDCad, puede hacerlo agregando las partes de Philio como una biblioteca no oficial, consulte también:

I could already open a file with VEX parts, the Robot is displayed but not the parts in part bin window. what am I doing wrong? Help me please. LDCad 1.6.

Sorry, forgot to answer your previous questions... please try this installer, it installs a customized version of LDCad for VEX along with parts library (this customized version can be installed alongside with regular LDCad without interference).

(side note: I stopped developpement of all this some time ago because of a change in VEX management and complete lack of support from them since).
