With the official launch of Spike Prime set, I was asked how to create cables in models... so I made this short video:

This is really helpful, thanks for posting it.  

There's something that happens around 2:08 where you generate a new guide point (sorry if that's not the right terminology) and then move it into the part to guide the cable.  How does that happen?  Seems like a keyboard command?

Yes, Insert key. There is a box bottom left showing keyboard keys and mouse actions. When you select any end point of a flex part and press insert key, only the control point is added.

Nice tutorial.

I noticed you sometimes find the 'umbrella' is in the way. You can hide it at any time with the p (pin) key.

I guess I should use that... but I asked once for the possibility to make the umbrella a ring instead of a disk to make it less covering Wink
