Hi
anyone know if this part has been made??
4150px21

If not, could someone please make it??
I need this for one of my instructions.

Thanks
Does not seem so.

You can check the available patterns with the "Pattern Reference" function of the PT

http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptpatterns.cgi?p=4150
http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptpatterns.cgi?p=14769

Do you have a hi-res picture?

EDIT: Uh... it has gradients...

Best done with texture mapping then?
If there is a high res picture or very good photo or scan it can be done.

Yeah, gradients Sad
And beeing silver printed, not sure that texmap will provide a good result. Anyway, here is a pretty good image I found:

OK, I can try to redraw it in my graphics program (Fireworks).
As you might know and remember it works with vector graphic information but can write bitmap PNG files.
You can use all sorts of lines, colors and gradients to get very good results.
I'll give it a try.

Here is an attempt to approach and mimic the pattern

[attachment=3261]

Perhaps this is usable to texture map the part?

Created a mock-up for this part some time ago, maybe you can use it in the meantime?
Jaco's drawing looks very good!
Mimicking the gradient like I did with parts/4589552b.dat is still quite some work... May be subparting

Thanks. Feel free to used it.
Hello, is this part going to be a part of official LDraw library? Or at least unofficial library?
Somehow im starting to get a strange error with this element.

In LDcad it is shown like this:

In LPub3D it is on the model shown the same:

but the partlist is shown correct:

How come i see thie behavior?
The file attached here in this forum thread, 4150p08, is using the same partnumber as the unofficial file 4150p08 found in the Part Tracker.
Please change the number on the file downloaded from the forum to something like 4150p08_mockup.dat

That did the trick.
Any chance this part will be made official ??
Now uploaded to the Part Tracker as 4150p0a.dat

https://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.c...150p0a.dat

This needs a different pattern code. It is a Star Wars pattern.

Sorry 'bout this. It's now been renumbered to 4150psc.dat

https://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.c...150psc.dat

Plese delete any copy of 4150p0a you've downloaded.
