Could we - in a commune effort - get these:

http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptreviewsum...rainwheels

fixed and certified?

Thanks, w.

After Looking at these picture:

I agree with Mike. There aren't two types of this wheel BUT there is a waggon and a motor wheel. While the motor version is indeed beveled the waggon is not. My proposal is therefore to keep 244c01 as the motor version and redesign http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.cg...568c01.dat as waggon.
After digging a bit more on this I'll do the following fix:

[attachment=3122]
  • Rename 243 to ~Train Wheel Spoked for Waggon
  • Move the code from 568.dat to 244.dat and rename it ~Train Wheel Spoked for Motor
  • Turn the currently official 568.dat into a ~Moveto
Consequently all shortcuts have to be renamed accordingly and in the end all 568er will vanish into thin air.

I'm pretty sure that the Australian English spelling of "wagon" is "wagon", not "waggon". Tim, can you confirm?
I appreciate this effort, thanks for finally resolving this
As for the remaining wheels I found these pics:

Since we already have the beveled version in the offical library either x444.dat or x447.dat has to be deleted.

The update:

http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.cg...s/x447.dat

Is now at the PT. 444.dat has been deleted.
