Need some touch up, not all parts line up.

I have the feeling that model is floating slightly above ground?

Mmh, PovRay plane is at Y = 17. The lowest point of the tyre in LDCad is at Y = 17. So it must be something due to the lightning in PovRay.

Indeed, I think it's a visual effect caused by the alignment of tire treads and shadow.

Done with LDCad 1.6b ;angle calculation of the front was done with a self written excel tool for solving a four-joint problem with excels "GoalSeek" function.

With this set all main Technic Sets from 1991 are available as OMR-files. Only the "Idea Set" from the initial post needs to ge OMRized. I'll do this soon...

Note: I'm not sure about the number as this set comes from 'idea book' which was included in 8815.
