Do any of you have the new WeDo 2.0 set?
I'd love to have LDraw files for the new electronics. (All the other elements appear to be in the LDraw tracker already)
Particularly I'm interested in the 19071 hub and the 21980 motor (the motor is very similar to the PF M motor, but it only has 3 pin holes at the front and 4 studs at the top).
Much less important are the other elements:
20841tilt sensor
20844 motion sensor
As far as I can tell those are identical to the sensors from WeDo 1. However, these elements also use new cables (6 wires) and connectors.
Unfortunately no, I don't have it

What would it take to get this done?
I'm a user, but wouldn't know where to start drawing these pieces. I'd consider even paying someone to create and share the new WEDO 2 pieces.
Not sure how to go about this....

Do you have those pieces?
The problem is I cannot find pictures from other angles than the official Lego pictures. Especially hires of the sockets would be interesting.
What I find difficult to judge right now is the height of the motor, i.e. at how many plates are the studs above the bottom?
That would help for mock-ups already.

I do have the pieces. And I'd be happy to provide whatever images would be helpful.
What's the best way to share them with you (or with anyone interested)?

You can link them in here, post them on some image sharing site (e.g. brickshelf, dropbox, etc.)
I sent you my email in a PM
Edit: you have PMs disabled, just add a dot between first and last and add gmx dot at as the domain

Sorry, I should have updated this thread. I got WeDo2 and am actively working on the parts. Connectors, wires and sensors are done, as well as hub top (and battery case is almost completed too). Currently working on motor. Actually I delayed posting on PT because I was still hoping to get real part numbers from LEGO (only got those from hub as it's easy to open)... but it may take a bit more time.

Thanks, yes, I know these parts numbers for complete assemblies. What I'm trying to get is the parts numbers for each compositing elements (motor grey shell, white shell, light sensor top, light sensor bottom, etc...).
That's so awesome Philippe! I just got me the WeDo 2.0 Core Set and hope to do after school activities with it, and it would be great to be able to 'digitally archive' the things kids have built and come up with.
I've only just recently discovered non-official parts that you can add to the LCad library.
I've added all of your files to the 'parts' directory, but not all are built properly in Bricksmith, like the Hub and Distance Sensor. Maybe I'm missing some files in /p/ or did I need to pit files in /s/ ?

Glad you like them
Yes, you probably miss subparts or primitives. To be sure not to miss any, I suggest that you download all unofficial parts from this page:
http://www.ldraw.org/article/14.html
Thanks Philippe, your parts look great now, it's just that a lots of other parts suddenly don't render properly.. Ouch! Reloading the parts list didn't help. I guess I need to re-install Bricksmith or something.

I think you are missing some parts in your library... the simplest is to download all unofficial parts in one chunk here:
https://www.ldraw.org/library/tracker/

And one more question:
How can I connect wires to WeDo 2.0 controller? I mean with "magnetic" function like on the screenshot (Google Drive) on EV3?
What LDCad version do you use? There used to be missing snapping definition in LDCad for the 23816 plug, but it seems OK now with the last LDCad beta that I use here (1.7 Beta1), available here:

Thank you! It works! 1.7 Beta1 supports this function really!
