Can anyone think of a decorative way of attaching a vertical technic axle to a baseplate? I am using it for a street sign. The only method I could think of is a round 2x2 brick, but that is pretty ugly. I'm guessing there are other ways to do it.

The technic bush should fit between 2x2 studs at one side.

I decided to use 75535.dat. It could be fixed to the ground using a technic pin or regular stud.

Is there a more attractive way to attach the two green signs to the post? The bricks are too square and blocky IMO.
