Looking for someone to create part 11298.

I'm on it. It is present in LDD, but I don't have it.

Do you have the part?
Is there a particular reason for the two flat spots on the underside of the hinges?

To my knowledge there is no reason for the flat spots near the hinge.

Could you tell me if these two corners should line up with the lilac part?

I think the flat spots help keep it in the lowered and raised positions, respectively. I don't have the part though.

Yes. Those corners should line up.

It is now at the PT.
I had to move all three lines affected by those corners. Two vertical (left/right) lines and the lower horizontal line.

Yes, that was my first thought too.

It looks more like they have made an attempt to reduce the friction, if it were to come close enough.
But I can't find any part coming close enough, to work like that. Not even this contraption comes close. Used in at least 9 different models, together with this windscreen.
