When I run MLCad, I got popup message "8/stud.dat file not found", it does work after I click button 'continue', but I don't like this message, how can I solve this problem?
Your LDRAW parts installation seems to be incomplete.
The folder "8" normally is located inside the "P" folder, where the missing file should reside.
You should maybe re-download the most recent complete collection of official parts (complete.zip) from
http://www.ldraw.org/downloads-2/downloads.html
and re-install that.
I'm confused. Does anyone know why MLCad would be trying to access 8/stud.dat?
The current release has the fast-draw studs moved to p/8/ and stu2.dat is moved to p/8/stud.dat. Since the file cannot be found, something's wrong with the library installation.
Thanks. I knew about the new p/8, but had forgotten that stu2.dat was changed to a "moved to".
